Ironically Comfortable?

When we were still bewildered that someone would actually have the desire and power to make the twin towers collapse within an hour of having airplanes crash into them, another attack on our American liberties was heralded as good for our security'. Why?

Of course there are some Americans who already know the truth, and are screaming as loud as they can to help turn the tide. But many Americans I talk to are still comfortable thinking that their government has truly been acting in the best interest of the country since 2001. Admittedly, I too was comfortable believing 19 Arab hijackers pulled off the greatest crime on American soil, and our officials -- with a trillion dollar security network to protect our nation -- knew exactly after 9/11 that the culprit was Osama bin Laden who was held up in Afghanistan. But why after 5 years is Osama bin Laden NOT listed as wanted for /11 by the FBI, and could several of the FBI listed suicide hijackers be reportedly still alive? Why doesn't American media want to investigate and report the truth? Consider the resources it takes to investigate a report... minimal... compared to the cover-up necessary to protect the public from the truth. Why?

Since President Ford's passing away, many tried telling the public that when he pardoned President Nixon of all criminal charges, he actually healed the nation. Obviously rescuing the top criminal elements from prosecution saved the GOP, but it did not heal our nation, nor our reputation to the world.

America should be...

...but the public and the main stream media may be comfortable with it no longer being such. Otherwise why would hiding the truth from the public be so important?

To actually say that hiding the truth and protecting lies can be called healing is amazing. What medical counselor in their right mind would advise a patient that covering up the truth will actually heal anything? Oh wait -- unless that doctor knew the patient would have to keep returning for the same injection of deception. Who calls this kind of "healing" treatment ? Foxnews? Bush Sr?  Why?

So, most people know its possible our government lies. Wait -- many of them can't get into politics unless they lie (never inhaled, or recovering alcoholic and former cocaine abuser - said to be things of the "past"). So has the truth become so worthless and taboo? Yes, even in our military, precedent has been set that even questioning the white house fairy tale truth about 9/11 is branded as disloyal. Why?

A trip into history gives us a serious example of why and how a government and its media arms hijacked a terrible event and blamed a false enemy. The Reichstag fire of 1933 was officially attributed to a nearly blind Dutch communist radical named Marinus van der Lubbe who was arrested in the Reichstag building as it burned. Adolph Hitler and the top Nazi leadership alleged a widespread communist conspiracy was responsible for the act of arson and used this fraudulent assertion to justify their subsequent acts of constitutional and human treason.
